About Us & Approach

Change is our Responsibility

At Tenacity Rising we believe that conflict is an inflection point that can lead to constructive outcomes for ourselves and others. In fact, when we transform ourselves, we change the world! To get there, the pathway is forged through building the capacity for enhanced perspectives, developing deep personal insights, and using new strategies and support resources to engage with purpose versus habitual and emotional reactions. To learn more about what inspires and drives our conflict resolution work, see our below principles:

Philosophy

Change is our responsibility, each and every one of us. How we treat ourselves and engage with others is fundamental to the world we perceive, experience, and impact. When we take responsibility for self-growth, learning and applying new skills personally and with others, we can transform difficult experiences into our greatest opportunities for unfolding into the best version of ourselves. And when we resiliently interact with authenticity, self-knowledge, and compassion, we not only create the potential for co-creative solutions to emerge, but to change our world and that of others.

Core Values

⦁ Personal Growth and Transparency

⦁ Empathy and Resilience

⦁ Social Sustainability

Mission Statement

To empower individuals, businesses, and communities to take agency in building and leveraging new conflict resolution strategies so they can transform difficult interactions into opportunities for co-constructive and sustainable outcomes.

"When you Tenaciously Rise, You Change the World!"

About Our Founder and Principal Conflict Resolution Consultant

Cinzia Lombardo, M.A. translates her educational and professional experiences to support businesses and individuals with conflict resolution services and the coaching to build new perspectives and strategies for effectively handling disputes. Having worked across corporate, tech start-up, humanitarian, and higher education settings, she has navigated complex human dynamics that arise in corporate politics, change management, business development and contract negotiation with small to Fortune 500 companies, international project management, remote and in-person team management, mitigating customer success negligence, evangelizing emerging technology and securing venture capital funding, scaling business needs arising from both organic and acquisition growth as well as rescaling due to downsizing, and more.

Cinzia also spent four years supporting the humanitarian causes of Dr. Arun Manilal Gandhi, the fifth grandson of Mohandas “Mahatma” Gandhi, until his passing in May 2023. While running Dr. Gandhi’s public relations and social justice tours, their friendship afforded her the opportunity to deeply learn about the Gandhian legacy of nonviolence. This work and philosophical approach contributed to Cinzia completing her Master’s degree in Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution and founding Tenacity Rising to support individuals and teams in effectively engaging in difficult conversations and working through conflict dynamics to reach co-constructive results.

Beyond her work at Tenacity Rising, Cinzia is a faculty lecturer at Salisbury University in the Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution Department. She is also a yoga instructor, so do not be surprised if she incorporates pranayama (yogic breathwork) into a coaching session or workshop, or encourages the practice of meditation or mindfulness as tools in your conflict resolution toolbox.

Cinzia is driven by the core conviction that change is our responsibility, and believes that conflict can fuel innovation and new co-creative outcomes when parties augment their self-knowledge and conflict resolution skills. She hopes you choose Tenacity Rising to support your journey towards leveraging conflict as a constructive agent of change!
